Just an interesting fact: Azriel was extracted from the Jewish old text which was roughly translated into Azza = Help and Riel = God (so Helper of god, also called the angle of mortal joy and harvest). However, the twisted name “Azrael” comes from an early Christian translation also called the angle of death/destruction/angel of souls/soul collector/ and finally (of course) the Grim Reaper (I’m thankful my parents named me on the original, =D). However the story of both Azriel and Azrael and roughly the same, both were cast from heaven and both chose mortal pleasure over angelic duty, the only difference is the trend that the Christian translation to create a villain in order to balance the biblical world (Jewish translations see Azriel as a link to angelic and mortal worlds, he/she is the martyr of humanity).
Oh and a beautiful piece, =D
